SPECIALISED TURF ENTRIES (Additional information required)
a) Turf grass sites should be judged as soon after completion as possible.
b) To make a fair evaluation, the judges need to see the important aspects of the construction of
these projects. Are you able to describe/illustrate and/or elaborate on any/all of the following aspects either on site or by photographs/documentation submitted in your portfolio:
a) A photographic record of the progress of the project from start to finish is recommended.
b) It is essential to have a knowledgeable person on site to answer questions.
c) The site or installation period constraints are often critical on turf projects; ensure that these come out clearly in your Entry Form or are explained on site.
d) The maintenance quality of turf projects has the biggest influence on the appearance; if maintained by others (e.g., the client himself) have them present at the evaluation as well.
