Johannesburg’s International Flower Show has broken ground
The organisers of the Johannesburg International Flower Show have started working on site at Waterfall City, just below the Mall of Africa in Midrand. The show will run from the 30 October to 3 November, 2019.
“Celebrating design and innovation with the country’s leading landscapers, designers and gardeners, the Johannesburg International Flower Show will house some of the best garden and floral displays – making it the showstopper event that will compare to the internationally acclaimed RHS Chelsea Flower Show,” says Mike Sham, Event Director.
It is anticipated that the Johannesburg International Flower Show will attract between 80 000 and 100 000 visitors over the 5 days of the event.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this extraordinary floral experience in South Africa and can guarantee that this will become a much anticipated event on the annual calendar”.
Imagine walking into a pavilion and flowers in the form of innovative floral artistry, walls of beautiful fragrant flowers, and cascading floral chandeliers surround you.
Where gardens are designed to transport you to different lands and times. The smell of thousands of flowers teasing your senses while the vibrant colours ignites your imagination.
From fresh cut floral displays to exotic floral landscapes, the Johannesburg International Flower Show will overwhelm your senses.
At the heart of show is the Grand Pavilion, where guests can marvel at vibrant flower displays and innovative garden designs, attend workshops and gaze at the truly unique floral creations.
South Africa’s leading landscape designers, as well as some incredible up-and- coming talent, will create some extraordinary gardens including Showcase Gardens, Artisan Gardens as well as creative Theme Gardens.
